SJH Tiger Wrestlers open with TMP Scramble

The Stockton Junior High wrestling season opened last Thursday when the Tigers traveled to Hays to compete in the TMP Junior High Scramble. Hunter Howell and Zach Young were both undefeated on the night, going 3-0 and winning each of their matches by fall.

The Tigers have eight wrestlers (six boys and two girls) on their 2020 roster: 8th Grade—Max Moffett and Zach Young; 7th Grade—Deacon Creighton, Hunter Howell, Emerson Lowry, Ryan Mongeau, Ashlyn Hahn and Bodye Stithem. Breckyn Williams and Cason Iwanski are the team’s managers. Coaches are Clint Bedore, Tyler Hahn and Justin Basart.

This Thursday Stockton will head south to Plain-ville, with matches beginning at 5:00 p.m.
