Trenton Miller places 27th overall in Dallas marathon

Trenton Miller of Colorado Springs placed 27th overall out of 3,445 runners in the 2023 BMW Dallas Marathon held on Sunday, December 10, in Dallas, Texas. The 28-year-old’s time of 2:51.23 for the 26.2-mile event re-qualified him for the Boston Marathon, and qualified him for the 2024 TSC New York City Marathon.

In September of this year, Miller competed in the Blackmoor Sydney Marathon in Sydney, Australia, where he finished 108th out of 3,450 runners. His time of 2:58.42 had already qualified him for the Boston Marathon, so this recent Dallas Marathon, re-qualified him.

Miller has already signed up to run in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon which will be held on October 13, 2024, and also plans to run in next year’s marathon in New York City.

Miller’s fan club in Dallas included his parents, Danny and Thui Miller, as well as his girlfriend Kara. He is the grandson of Veda Miller, and John and Malee Berkley all of Stockton.
