2023 Rooks County Landfill rates increase

The Rooks County Landfill rates increased as of January 1st, 2023. The rates are as follows: Minimum rate is $10.00; Municipal Waste is $40.00 a ton with a minimum weight of 500 pounds (under 500 pounds has a minimum charge of $10.00); and Construction Waste is $30.00 a ton with a minimum weight of 680 pounds (under 680 pounds has a minimum charge of $10.00).

Tire prices are $10.00 per car tire; $15.00 for car tire with rim; $20.00 per truck tire; $25.00 per truck tire with rim; $30.00 per tractor tire; and $35.00 per tractor tire with rim.
