Now is a critical time to be thinking about winter feeding strategies for your cows and calves. Is energy and protein supplementation needed and how can you be strategic in delivering those nutrients.
This information and more will be shared at the Winter Cow-Calf Nutrition program on January 11, at 5:30 p.m., at the Chesapeake Roadhouse, Rooks County Golf Course.
Local veterinarians, Drs. Lauren Mack, The Animal Hospital, and Craig Iwanski, Central Veterinary Services, will give you an idea of what they’re seeing in the field.
K-State Research and Extension Specialists, Drs. Gregg Hanzlicek and Jason Warner will discuss the importance of Vitamin A and nutritional components.
