This ‘n That
* So sorry to hear of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. She was a go-getter and took her title seriously.
* It’s Rec volleyball and flag football season! I have every Saturday morning in September booked!
* Someone said that they are willing to throw down that apple cider is waaaaay better than pumpkin spice as the superior fall beverage! And though I talk about pumpkin spice A LOT, my favorite fall and winter drink is hot cocoa.
* Try this as a natural way to fill your house up with the fragrances of fall—Combine three tablespoons of coconut oil with three teaspoons of pumpkin spice and a half of a teaspoon of cinnamon. Put it in your Scentsy, turn it on, and enjoy.
* Where are the people who are walking around like everything is okay, but deep down inside they are wanting to put up their Christmas tree already? I have heard that they do exist.
* September—when the leaves start to blush and turn red.
* Say it isn’t so!!! I have already seen Christmas merchandise out in stores! And with that said, it’s not too early to be planning your Halloween costume!
* Remember when cowboys would say, “Now wait a dang minute!” Someone asked how long a dang minute is and the best reply was, “The same as a regular minute, only madder.”
* Just saw a commercial about the reboot of the TV series “Quantum Leap” that is to air later this month. I am not impressed.
* I like that of all the posts online I have seen about the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the post from soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo received over five million likes in less than a day. It is now close to ten million.
* I love chocolate, but when does it get to be too much? I say never, but I did see a recipe online that has people putting softened chocolate chip cookie dough in the bottom of a brownie pan, then adding a layer of Oreo cookies on top, followed by a fudge brownie mix before baking it.
