Stockton High School received word recently it will be hosting one of eight Class 1A, Div. I Sub-State Volleyball Tournaments on Saturday, October 21.

The Stockton Lady Tigers split in their action at Northern Valley last Tuesday as they downed Lakeside, but fell to the Lady Huskies. In JV action, Stockton was defeated by Northern Valley 12-25, 18-25..

ON FRIDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 29TH, prior to the SHS Homecoming football game, Stockton USD 271 and Fort Hays State University had the honor of presenting the Athletic Director of the Year Award to Mr. Kyle Hull. This award is nominated and voted on by the athletic official’s organization at FHSU. These college students and officials take this award very seriously and hold the winner to high acclaim. The award is given to an Athletic Director who shows appreciation and hospitality to the officials who work at their school, and who separates themself in the professionalism shown to officials as they visit numerous high schools. Mr. Hull, a 2017 Stockton High School graduate, is in his second year as co-athletic director at Stockton, where teaches business and elementary physical education.
