The Damar Community Foundation is proud to announce that Michelle Boone (Boone Art Studio), is a recipient of a $1,000.00 grant. Grants are awarded for start-up and those expanding their businesses. One of the missions of the Damar Community Foundation is to help those efforts, thus helping the City of Damar by utilizing an otherwise vacant building.

This year, David and Taylor Ghumm are taking on the leadership role for the Stockton Wrestling Club. Kent and Julie Hahn, who had headed the program for many years, sent out a message asking if someone was interested in taking over or helping manage the club. Since the Ghumms have two boys who are already involved, they thought this would be a good fit for the family.

Farmers Union Elevator and Land O’ Lakes In honor of National Co-op Month, Farmers Union Elevator and Land O’ Lakes have provided a combined gift of $1,000 to the Kansas Food Bank to support their work in Rooks County. The announcement was made on Thursday, October 19, at the Stockton Food Pantry.
