UPDATE: Condition of deputy shot in officer-involved shooting

FORD COUNTY—The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), and the Ford County Sheriff’s Office updated on the deputy who remained hospitalized in Wichita after an officer-involved shooting occurred Monday in Dodge City, Kansas.

The deputy from the Ford County Sheriff’s Office was released from the hospital today. He is now recovering at home.

The investigation is ongoing. Once completed the findings will be presented to the Ford County Attorney for review.
