Patricia A. (Kollman) Middleton

Patricia A. “Pat” (Kollman) Middleton, 88, passed away June 17, 2023, in Magnolia, Texas, where she had made her home for several years.

She was born December 18, 1934, to Henry and Laura Kollman in Woodston, Kan.

Pat graduated from Woodston Rural High School after attending her early years at the one-room school in the Survey School District. Following high school, she attended and graduated from Kansas State University.

After college, her job as a government statistician allowed her to travel to various places, including Alaska and California. She met her future husband, “Smokey” Middleton, during this time.

They settled in Houston, Texas, where they welcomed a son, Michael, into their lives. While there, Pat worked as an executive secretary for a large oil corporation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Smokey; brothers, “Mike” and Mark; and sister, Mary Pulec.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Donna); grandchildren: Stephanie, Stephan, and Sean; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Graham, and Gwendene; sister, Joan Northup; nieces: Brenda Brady, Sherry, Melva, Heather, Jessica, and Melinda Pulec, Anne Bremerman, and Angela Steeby; and nephews, Brian and John Northup.
