Roberta V. Hairfield

Roberta V. Hairfield, 92, of Larned, Kansas, died on October 11, 2023 at Diversicare of Larned.

She (Bobbie) was born December 20, 1930, in Zurich, Kansas, the daughter of Rudy and Violet Novotny of Hoisington, Kansas.

Roberta graduated from Hoisington High School in 1948 and was employed with Southwestern Bell in Plainville and Hoisington, Kansas.

On May 7, 1951, she married Harry W Hairfield of Hoisington in the Great Bend Methodist Church. They were married for 62 years until his death in 2013.

Survivors include sons Dr. Wm Michael Hairfield (Wendy) of Lynnwood, Washington, and Robert Roland Hairfield (Laura), Pasco, Washington; grandsons Robert and Matthew; brothers E.J. Novotny, Russell and Dr. Wm. G. Novotny, Kansas City; sisters Dolores Morton, Larned; and Sharon Lovesee, Larned.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Roberta will be missed and live forever in our hearts.

There will be no funeral or memorial service.
