Vernon “Leroy” Hutton

Vernon “Leroy” Hutton passed away on October 7, 2023, at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 91.

He was born February 7, 1932, in Rooks County, the son of Vernon and Edna (Brown) Hutton.

Survivors include his wife Arlyne; son Kirk of Blair, Neb.; daughters Sharon Kinnan of Oakdale, Neb., and Muriel Iman of Agra; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 13, at 10:30 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Jonathan Iman officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until service time on Friday.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Woodston Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 to 9:00 on Wednesday and Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Agra Methodist Church or Teens For Christ.
