A pass from Max Moffet to Emerson Lowry were the only points the Stockton Tigers put on the scoreboard last Friday night at Oberlin. The district contest found the Red Devils defeating Stockton by the score of 54-6.

Stockton Junior High hosted the Hill City Ringnecks last Thursday in volleyball actionwiththeLady Tigers defeating the visitors in both the A- (21-25, 25-20, 15-6) and B-Team (25-22, 25-10) contests. The C-Team match was an exciting one, but Stockton fell to the Lady Ringnecks in three sets, 25-20, 24-26, 13-25.

The Kansas High School Activities Association has released district football assignments for the 2024 and 2025 football seasons. Stockton will compete in the 8-Player — Division I, District 8 group along with Atwood-Rawlins County, Hill City, Hoxie, Oberlin-Decatur Community, and St.

Last Saturday saw the Stockton Lady Tigers traveling to Ellis for a tournament with Northern Valley, Osborne, Plainville, Quinter, Victoria, Wallace Co., and the host Lady Railers. In Pool A play, the Stockton girls were defeated by Ellis 25-16, 25-18, but came back to pick up wins over Osborne, 25-11, 25-19, and Wallace County 25-20, 13-25, 25-16.

The Stockton Lady Tigers pulled off a sweep last Thursday when they traveled to Logan to take on Logan/ Palco. The A Team won 25-22, 25-23, the B Team fought back to win 17-25, 25-15, 15-10, and the C Team won their match 25-14.

The Rawlins County Buffaloes ran the opening kickoff back for the touchdown last Friday night at Tiger Stadium. That TD seemed to set the tone for the rest of the game, as the Stockton Tigers never really got on track, losing their Homecoming game by the score of 66-0.

Freshman Mia Odle placed fifth in the JV Beloit Cross Country Meet held last Thursday. The heat that day made it rough on the Tiger runners, but they are looking to come back strong this Thursday when they travel to Phillipsburg. Racing begins at 4:00 p.m.
