Atkisson wins top honors.

The 84th Kansas Meat Processors Association Convention & Trade Show, which took place in Manhattan, Kansas, April 26-27, 2024, has drawn to a close. The annual event, which attracted participants and enthusiasts from across the state, provides those in the state's meat processing industry with a variety of opportunities for learning and networking, and also serves as a showcase for exceptional products and innovation.

The Hobart Homemakers FCE ladies met on April 22, 2024, at 7 pm at the Stockton Church of the Restoration. The meeting was called to order, and we recited the flag salute. The roll call was, 'What community service are you involved in?' Seven members answered. The minutes and treasurer's report were read and approved.

I know those things happened in other locations, and more significant amounts of rain fell, like over two inches at Norton and over four inches at Riley.
