Early copy needed for March 25th issue of Sentinel

The Sentinel is asking for early copy/ads for the March 25th edition. All ads and news must be received no later than Friday, March 19th, at 5:00 p.m.

Anything submitted after that time will not be printed due to our office being short-staffed during the Spring Break week and having to get the paper completed a few days earlier than normal.

We appreciate your help and understanding!

Rooks Co. Track Club registration deadline is Sun., March 14

Children ages 4-12 are encouraged to sign up for the Rooks County Track Club, sponsored by the Stockton and Plainville Recreation Commissions. Currently, three meets are scheduled, with additional meets possibly added later. Deadline to register is Sunday, March 14. Solomon Valley Pheasants Forever Banquet to be held Saturday, April 10th

The 2021 Annual Banquet for Solomon Valley Pheasants Forever, The Habitat Organization, will be held at the St. Thomas Parish Center (804 Main Street) in Stockton on Saturday, April 10th beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Social Hour. Not only will there be dinner, raffles, games, live and silent auctions, and much more, the organization will also be giving away a Youth Lifetime Hunting License (must be present to win)! SRC Spring Soccer signup is underway

Stockton Recreation Commission is now taking registrations for Boys and Girls Spring Soccer. Registrations must be done online at www. stocktonrec.org by Friday, March 12. Stockton USD 271 Preschool Child Find & Enrollment set for March 19th

The USD 271 Stockton Grade School Preschool Child Find and Enrollment will be held on Friday, March 19th.

The District will be pre-enrolling for their three-year-old and four-year old preschool services. They have programs for ALL three- and four-year-olds for the 2021-2022 school year. Please not that if your child is already enrolled in the 2020-2021 program, and you plan to continue enrollment, you do not need to call or schedule for the March 19th date. Everyone else needs to call 785-425-6120 to schedule a time.

Motion Dance Team fundraiser to be held on Monday, March 8th

The Motion Dance Team will have a To-Go Meal Fundraiser on Monday, March 8th at the dance studio (old train shop) beginning at 5:30 p.m. They are taking orders now, so please get your orders in by Friday, March 5th by calling Marcy Beougher at 785-425-8076 or Daneen Keller at 785-259-4155.

Third annual Production Sale for Dix Angus Ranch set for Mon., March 8th

The third annual Production Sale is set for Monday, March 8th at the Heartland Regional Stockyards in Plainville, Kansas starting at 1:00 p.m. Dix Angus Ranch (Cody Dix) is selling 100 top-quality yearling bulls, 10 elite registered open heifers, and 40 ranch-raised commercial replacement heifers.
