Rooks County Health Center has always been proud to serve its communities and patrons with the utmost attention to quality, respect, and excellence. The Health Center will be undergoing some changes in late 2022 and early 2023, but they would like to assure patrons that the commitment to quality health care that you have grown to expect and rely on will remain unchanged.

Soil Conservation is a combination of practices used to protect the soil from degradation. First and foremost, soil conservation involves treating the soil as a living ecosys-tem. This means returning organic matter to the soil on a continual basis.

NACD's Stewardship Week focuses on watersheds and the theme of 'One Water.' But what is a watershed? A watershed is an area of land that channels rainfall and snowmelt to creeks, streams, and rivers, eventually leading to outflow points such as reservoirs, bays, and the ocean. Those bodies of water are all connected, so every drop that falls becomes part of one water.

Kally and James Keith of Hill City are the proud parents of Rooks County Health Center’s 2023 New Year’s Baby. Beautiful Korry Nicole Keith, arrived at 5:07 p.m.

June 2— Stockton Tiger Rylan Basart was crowned state champion in the javelin with Kaelyn Means placing discus state runner- up. Glennace Mowry Kirn, Donald Eugene Bethel, Ruth Ann (Albright) O’Malley, Douglas Wayne Carmichael and Larry “Flash” Samuel Kuhlmann passed away.
