THE CITY CREWS were busy putting up the town’s Christmas decorations in anticipation of the 1994 Santa Madness, which was held on the Friday after Thanksgiving..

JERRY AND PATTI STERLING (left) are shown being presented a “thank you” plaque for their four years of hosting the Area One Special Olympics Bowling Tournament as owners of 183 Lanes in Stockton in the fall of 1994. IN THE FALL OF 1994 Brad Turnbull was kept busy chipping loose concrete from the joints of the south retaining wall that surrounds the Rooks County Courthouse. Turnbull worked for a Nebraska company that had a contract to restore the wall to its original condition.
